Workshop rows sync CVL compatibility badges when a CVL profile exists, so Steam Deck and Mac hosts can avoid maps that hitch on weak hardware. Where does Map Compare data come from?
Official map fields come from `map-compare-profiles.json` maintained with our stage guides. Workshop platform ratings merge from the CVL compatibility index when available.
Why do some Workshop maps show Mac as unsupported?
CVL manual testing tracks CrossOver and native Mac stability per map. A ❌ means testers saw crashes or severe frame drops — not that Steam blocks the download.
New players: start with official stages. Low-end PCs: filter for ✅ low-end ratings. Party groups: match Route Planner to your map pick.
